Today we’re exploring the language of one of the most ancient empires – Persian language. Even though it is old it is still thriving today. It is the national language of three countries: Iran, Afghanistan (where it is called Dari) and Tajikistan (where it is called Tajik). A little spoiler – Persian is different from Arabic!

Heute erforschen wir die Sprache eines der ältesten Reiche: die persische Sprache. Obwohl sie alt ist, blüht es noch heute. Es ist die Landessprache von drei Ländern: Iran, Afghanistan (wo es Dari genannt wird) und Tadschikistan (wo es Tadschikisch heißt). Kleiner Bemerkung – Persisch ist anders als Arabisch!

امروز ما در حال بررسی زبان یکی از کهن ترین امپراتوری ها هستیم – زبان فارسی. با وجود اینکه یک زبان بسیار قدیمیست،اما امروزه همچنان در حال شکوفاییست , زبان ملی سه کشور ایران، افغانستان (جایی که دری نامیده می شود) و تاجیکستان (جایی که به آن تاجیکی می گویند) است. توجه داشته باشید که فارسی با عربی فرق داره!
