Tiramisu
(Meaning “pick me up” or “lift me up”) is a popular coffee-flavoured Italian dessert, made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a mixture of whipped cream ,eggs, sugar, and mascarpone and flavoured with cocoa.

INGREDIENTS:
egg yolks 5

sugar 1 cup
milk 2 tbsp
heavy whipping cream 500ml
Vanilla extract 2 tsp
mascarpone 500g
ladyfingers 400g
instant espresso powder 4-5 tsp
cocoa powder for flavouring
chocolate decorations optional

DIRECTIONS:
1:Combine egg yolks and sugar in a double boiler and cook ..(you may not cook it on direct heat otherwise you will get scrambled sweet egg)
2:add milk and whisk continuously.
3:it is done when sugar is completely dissolved and you get a smooth paste.it will take about 20 to 30 minutes .
4.cover it and let it cool completely.
5.now whisk the heavy cream (always remember heavy whipping cream requires refrigeration)
6.now add mascarpone ,vanilla extract, and whipped cream into egg and sugar mixture .mix it well and keep in the fridge.
7.prepare espresso mixture and let it cool down.
8.assemble the tiramisu as shown invideo and refrigerate it for atleast 10 to 12 hours .
9 .dust it with cocoa powder and serve it .
